Job Summary

Core BTS (Core), a solution provider focused on client-centric IT services, software, and technology, seeks highly motivated Solution Architect focused on infrastructure technologies to join our team. You will work directly with customers, assisting account managers in sales calls and business development in a pre-sales capacity, recommending business and technical solutions and creating statements of work. This is a customer-facing role with opportunities to shape the way we engage clients, deliver projects, and adopt new technologies.

We work collaboratively as a team to deliver exceptional enterprise solutions and believe attention to detail, and a consultative experience is integral to our success. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for (but not limited to) creating architectural designs, infrastructure/connectivity analysis & design, leading onsite (or virtual) workshops and discovery & design sessions, writing documentation, and creating project estimates.

Required & Desired Skills

  • CCNP, CCIE highly desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Confirmed technical knowledge and consultative skills and able to train and disseminate information
  • 5+ years of related work experience in consulting area
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in consultative selling to business decision-makers by reinforcing the business value of solutions
  • BS (Business Management, Computer Science, or Information Systems) preferred or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of management, vendors, and customers
  • Strong problem solving and analytical/reasoning skills
  • Proven time management skills while remaining flexible in responding to changing company and client needs
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • 7-10 years of experience in Information Technology

The base salary for this position is typically $145,000 to $165,000. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each candidate, including experience and location.
